Great place to work on your self and get your life back on track. Lockey the counselor was the best and very professional. Her way of adding yoga and spiritual thinking to get down to your issues is helping me with my anxiety today. She will be missed. They keep you busy with groups to help you change all day long, great gym, food was not the best but it was edible. Overall I’m glad I went and stayed. Thank you to all staff. Mitch kept L1 on point. Discharge planing went smooth.
My dad brought me here because I was heading in a bad direction with drugs. I was resistant at first but the counselors didn’t force anything on me. They let me come to my own realization about needing help. The program is structured but not rigid. The guys in group were honest and didn’t let me minimize what was happening. I got sober and it’s sticking because I actually understand why I was using. Been clean for five months and things are getting better.

Decided to get help before I lost everything completely. The facility is professional and the program is well organized. The IOP program let me start treatment while still working which was important to me. The group sessions and individual counseling complemented each other well. The staff knows addiction and knows recovery. I’m six months sober and feel like I finally have control back. Would recommend to anyone serious about getting clean.

I want to take a few min to express my gratitude to discovery. Coming in i was pretty scared and really uncertain. I never thought I can change or the damn mental obsession would go away. But from the techs, nurses and councilors like mine elizabeth who showed me patience and guidance i have so much hope and gonna for once bet on myself. Elizabeth and the rest of the staff genuinely care about you as a person. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone thats serious about getting clean

Discovery Institute is absolutely phenomenal. .Completely changed the trajectory of my life. ..One of the biggest and most memorable impacts is Paul the counselor in Detox. .He is truly a man who would bend over backwards and make sure you stay sober and give you the shirt off his back just to see you happy. I had a life changing experience at Discovery institute from September to December of 2022. From the counselors to the techs, everyone was vital to my recovery from alcohol addiction. In particular, 2 Techs really made my time there more rewarding. Thomas and Shane are 2 employees that truly care about the client’s. Their personal dedication to their jobs and own stories of strength and hope really made an impact on me. I’m 4 months sober today and I owe a huge gratitude to Discovery institute and the staff there.

I had an amazing time. From the counseling, to meditation, to the Equine therapy, groups, literally everything offered I took advantage of, I have to say my experience there changed my life! I am alcohol and drug free since May 15, 2025 when I finished successfully and haven’t looked back. It gave me the start and change I desperately needed, and started me on my journey!
