Stacie is the Director of Outpatient Services at Discovery Institute. She has worked at Discovery Institute in 2003-2009 and came back in 2017, after taking time off to raise her two children. She has worked with all populations and all levels of care over the last 23 years, including private practice for 7 years. Stacie received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Stockton College, and went on to obtain her Master’s in Counseling with concentration in Addictions. Stacie eventually went on to obtain an additional Master’s in Advanced Clinical Mental Health in 2016. She has her LCADC and is working towards her LPC.
Stacie practices strength-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral approaches, and Motivational Interviewing. She feels group therapy and empowering the client along with additional support systems lead to optimal outcomes. Her clinical interests include: recovery and addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, young adults and addiction/recovery, relationships, communication skills, coping skills, trauma, anger management, crisis intervention, group and family therapy.
